A salt bath facility is required for the production of semi-hard and mountain cheese. The salt bath size is chosen so that there is space for 3 production batches. Production is divided into 2 folding racks. A folding rack can hold 12 mountain cheeses or 72 semi-hard cheeses. The salt bath tub is free-standing on height-adjustable feet with space for 6 racks and a separate overflow basin 2,400I. The salt bath crane is mounted on the edge of the tub on the one hand and on the wall on the floor on the other. An operating platform is mounted on the uprights on the wall. The crane track and the supporting structure are made entirely of stainless steel. The facility includes a salt dissolving basket, which is hung on the overflow basin. This basket also serves as a filter. The solids are collected in this tub.
