Description
Automatic capsule filling machine for processing hard gelatin capsules with a maximum capacity of 24,000 capsules/hour.

This consists of a machine cabinet on which the individual stations are arranged.

The empty capsules are placed in a stainless steel storage bin and transferred to the automatic sorting device.
There, they are aligned and vacuum-loaded into the loading segments (3 each). The segments serve
to transport the capsule tops and bottoms to the various workstations. The upper segments with the capsule tops are then guided inward; the capsule bottom is then transported to the next station.

The powder to be filled is placed in a stainless steel container. A horizontal agitator keeps the powder flowing freely. A screw conveys the powder to the dosing disc. Here, it is compacted by a filling ram and pressed into the bottom part as the dosing disc rotates. Empty capsules are detected and removed from the machine. The segments with the capsule tops are then guided over the capsule bottoms.

In the next station, the capsule halves are brought together and finally sealed. The filled and sealed capsules are ejected and removed via a chute. Before the segments enter a new cycle, they are cleaned with suction air.

The machine housing, accessible from four sides, houses the adjustment gear and drive. The workstation area is completely covered with hinged plastic panels for safety.

The control panel with all relevant operating and control elements is located at the front of the machine. The machine requires external compressed air and vacuum.
